Alicia Keys to perform the James Bond theme

Alicia Keys is set to perform the elusive James Bond theme for the latest Bond theme "Quantum of Solace". Here's a full report here:

Alicia Keys is reportedly going to be the one to sing the title song for the next 007 flick Quantum of Solace. While the news is not out officially, a source tells E! Online that Bond producers have picked Keys."I believe Alicia is the winner."

A host of singers reportedly submitted songs for consideration. They included Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Jack White, Duffy and, most recently, Annie Lennox. Reps for Keys and the movie have refused to comment. The 22 Bond flick, which sees Daniel Craig returning as the suave British spy, will hit theatres in November.

The video for "Magic" can be seen above, and the space inspired video clip is actually really good! Danity Kane - Video Update!

Danity Kane have just finished filming the official video for their latest single "Bad Girl". The track, which features Missy Elliot, is the second single taken from the girls' second album "Welcome To The Dollhouse". MTV were at the shoot of the new video, and here's what they reported about the video:
“It’s on fire,” Aubrey O’Day told MTV News on the Los Angeles set of the “Bad Girl” video, which is being directed by Erik White (Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown). “Five-inch heels, massive choreography — Gil Duldulao is our choreographer, and he’s [worked with] Janet Jackson. He’s fab.”
O’Day’s scene takes place in a dimly lit police interrogation room. She’s sitting across from a rugged detective, requisite lamp shining in her face. Soon, her alter ego emerges. Wearing a skintight leather catsuit, O’Day grabs the detective by his shirt and throws him on the table. Then she straddles him and cuffs his hands to the table, allowing for her escape.
The finished product will likely be a stylized mix between “The Matrix” and “Speed Racer,” ending with all of the DK girls kicking butt in a massive fight scene that closes the clip.

The video is confirmed to be released sometime this month.

Britney Spears - New Album Update

It's common knowledge that Britney Spears has returned to the studio to record her sixth album, follow-up to 2007's "Blackout". The album is slated to be released in early 2009, and Darkchild is working with Britney. In an interview on YouTube, Rodney "Darkchild" Jenkins said the following:
"I'm trying to reinvent her and myself. [The new sound is] very dancey, really uptempo, in the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy."

Can't wait for the new album, Blackout was amazing!
